Fox News host Mark Levin was hit with backlash from conservatives on Wednesday after he told President Donald Trump to hold “NO MORE MEETINGS” with Iran.
“MY FRIENDLY ADVICE, NO MORE MEETINGS,” Levin wrote in response to a report that claimed Iran was open to a meeting with the Trump administration to discuss a potential ceasefire with Israel. “I’ve no idea if this news report is accurate. Regardless, my friendly advice. No more meetings. There’s literally nothing to discuss.”
He continued, “Mission focus so we succeed taking out the nuclear sites. 80% of Americans want this done. It’s almost over.”
Levin’s post angered many social media users, including Trump supporters who accused the Fox News host of trying to tell the president what to do.
“America voted for Donald Trump to be President, not Mark Levin,” protested Human Events senior editor Jack Posobiec. “You do not get to tell the President who he can or can’t meet with.”
“He’s acting like he’s got Rubio’s job,” journalist Tom Pappert weighed in, while the anti-communist John Birch Society commented, “Everyone under 40 thinks you are nuts.”
Pro-Trump media personality “Brick Suit,” who famously joined Trump onstage in 2019, had harsher words for Levin, advising him to, “Take your advice and stick it up your a$$.”
Levin screamed at Fox News viewers on Tuesday while making his case for the United States to join Israel in its conflict with Iran.
“Let me be clear. This is good versus evil,” yelled Levin. “You’re either a patriotic American who’s gonna get behind the president of the United States – the commander-in-chief, or you’re not!”
